General Info

Tucked along 5805 Rosemead Blvd, Temple City, CA 91780, Bearology Temple City feels like the kind of café you discover once and then keep returning to. The spot has a relaxed neighborhood vibe, yet it also attracts plenty of visitors exploring the Temple City area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it easy to slow down and enjoy a drink or dessert from the menu.

One thing that stands out right away is how quickly everything moves. The service here is genuinely fast, which makes a big difference when you just want to grab something refreshing without a long wait. Even when there’s a steady flow of customers, drinks come out quickly and consistently. That efficiency keeps the experience smooth whether you’re stopping by briefly or planning to hang out for a bit.

The menu leans heavily toward creative drinks and sweet treats, and it’s clear that the café takes pride in its signature selections. A classic Juice is always a safe choice if you’re looking for something light and refreshing. Meanwhile, the Lavender Milk Tea has a subtle floral aroma that gives it a calming twist compared to traditional milk tea. For something visually striking, the Butterfly Lemonade catches the eye immediately with its vibrant color while still delivering a bright, citrusy flavor.

If you’re more into creamy drinks, the Banana Milk Tea is a favorite among regulars. It blends the smoothness of milk tea with the mellow sweetness of banana, creating a drink that feels indulgent without being overly heavy. Another standout on the dessert side of the menu is the Caramel Apple Smoothie. It balances fruity freshness with a hint of caramel sweetness, making it a satisfying choice when you’re craving something cold and dessert-like.

The café is also surprisingly convenient for visitors. There’s a free parking lot, which removes the usual stress of finding a spot in busy areas. It’s a small detail, but it definitely makes the overall visit more enjoyable. The outdoor seating area also allows dogs, so anyone exploring the neighborhood with their pet can easily stop by for a drink break.

Because of its accessible location and laid-back setting, the café often draws tourists as well as locals. Some guests stop in while exploring nearby streets, while others come specifically after hearing positive reviews about the drinks. The combination of creative beverages, quick service, and a welcoming environment gives the place an easygoing charm that fits perfectly with the café culture in Temple City.

What customers say?

“ I was hoping the Mugen Train event was still going on since Demon Slayer Infinity Castle just came out but unfortunately it wasn't. However, this Bearology has a really cool interior and the Squishmellow theme was still really cute. Kids love it. ”

“ Highly recommend making reservations! $10 per person (counts towards bill). Instagram & Tiktok influencer definitely got special treatment & the full experience. I'm disappointed that the themed drinks can only be served in the $25 tumbler & mug. For some reason when I went they were no longer severing the themed drinks in Nezukos mug? Only in Tanjiros tumbler. So I asked to be served Nezukos drink in a regular cup but was rejected and told that I could only order regular menu drinks. I expressed my confusion for the cashier to finally give me what I was paying for. I did not want 2 tanjiro tumblers . & didn't want to pay $30 for a mug without the drink. So, thank you bearology staff for pouring my drink in my paid mug. I recommend zenitsus drink & the sword churros!! Nezuko's drink was okay! Definitely a less than 30min experience. Party of less than 3 will be sat with strangers. I didn't mind but they definitely did (understandable). Overall I spent $70 bucks. Definitely worth it since my nephew loved it ”

“ Love love the atmosphere. Full of colorful decorations. Love the interactive stamp collection. The tiki food and Ramen was enjoyed by the family. Service was quick and all smiles. ”

“ We went when they had the demon slayer experience! We tried all the demon slayer drinks and food. The onigri was dry but palletable! The bento box was seasoned to perfection. (THE BOILED EGG WAS SO GOOD) The churro was so good my husband got it both times we went(we also got the bento twice) The Nesuko drink was like drinking rose tea. I would say to drink it if you like floral drinks. The Inosuke drink was coffee and hazelnut. We both really enjoyed this one. The Tanjiro drink was a well-balanced mint and apple drink! The Zenitsu drink was a citrus and passionfruit drink! I would recommend if you want a leveled up orange juice! We also got a lot of souvenirs here! The cup in the photo was a souvenir! And the bento box is one as well ”

“ The Demon Slayer Mugen Train pop-up was so much fun!! Cool decor, awesome exclusive products and the food was good!! We had a blast! We had a reservation and walked right in. Great service from everyone working there and food came quickly! We were a party of 2 and we shared a table with 2 other guests. They were wonderful people and we had a nice time chatting! ”

“ First time here. Gloria was great and very informative! I love that the store has collaborated themes that switch out every few months. The atmosphere is very inviting like it’s great for a date or a nice place to hang out. Just wished the cup sizes were bigger! ”

“ The infinity castle experience is so fun and the snack tower is a must! I loved the tumblers and the lychee drink! Definitely worth checking out! ”

“ The food was good for the demon slayer pop up but it looks nothing like it was advertised. You don’t get a big slab of spam you get little cubes you don’t get two big katsu buns you get one big one that’s cut into fours. You get two pieces of shrimp tempura and teo onion. Cake things . The picture looks like more food especially for the price you pay for it. It’s expensive. Awesome experience and the food was good but you don’t get that much for how much it cost . ”
